alpina [Am thinking this would take about episode 47 but instead of Sougo dragging her out and straight into her past timeline they uhh stick around and hash things out somewhat. IDK. Just quietly shove Woz and uncle somewhere else. Oh wait. Have an idea to deal with that.]

[ Alpina.
She definitely heard him say that name. Then as soon as she heard that name, she reacted before thinking. Her hands came up in front of her and the world was suddenly still. She needed time to think. Time to get her mind around what was happening. They had spent all night looking for Sougo, gave up, were about to eat breakfast and then he came running in. He was very beaten up, suddenly had a revelation about Build and was then dragging her out of the room.
Check.
Then suddenly he knew her name. That was the thing that threw her for a loop. That's not the type of thing you can just spring on a girl in front of everybody. It wasn't long ago that she had smiled and declared to everybody that she was herself and her past didn't matter. BUT ...this was before she found out who she actually is. Did it really not matter? ]
Sougo...
[ Her voice is soft. She takes a deep breath while she stands there for a moment longer, watching his face closely. She has no reason to not trust him. Even when she was the one that betrayed him not long ago, he had accepted her back without question. Not even that. He had invited them back in.
Alpina moves from her position between Sougo, Geiz and the others and goes to sit on one of the steps nearby. She takes another deep breath and then lifts a hand to unfreeze time just for Sougo. One challenge at a time. Her gaze is fixed squarely on the ground in front of his feet for now. ]

Date: 2020-10-19 03:32 am (UTC)Then again, he can't exactly sacrifice his own world either. Even if he's willing to sacrifice himself, there are too many people he cares about that come from his timeline for him to give it up.
Becoming Oma Zi-O is also not an option he wants to take. The amount of death and destruction that lies down that path is just as unacceptable as flat out destroying a world, but Sougo doesn't know what to do right now.
So when Tsukuyomi allows time to resume around him, he answers Tsukuyomi's question with an answer she didn't ask for. ]
Miharu's dead.
[ The reason he knows her name, but knowing her name does not give him any reason to suddenly retract the trust he'd extended to her. It's incidental, and no important or relevant to his desire to keep her safe.
He moves to stand before her where she sits on the stairs. There's a lot of emotions behind his eyes right now. Sougo looks troubled, but nothing in his expression suggests he is blaming Tsukuyomi for any of this. ]

Date: 2020-10-19 03:50 am (UTC)She noticeably freezes for a split moment trying to gather herself together. It's not that she was afraid of this death. She had seen so many of her comrades fallen in battle. This one, however, this particular one was her own fault.
If she had taken his advise then maybe this wouldn't have happened. ]
Then you know everything. About my family...my brother.
[ She lifts her gaze to meet his, watching him very carefully for any reaction. Anything that would prove his loyalty either way but all she sees is the same person she met when she first came to this timeline. Someone that deserved to have her loyalty and protection and he's proven it time and time again.
Yet all of this really didn't matter. At the end of the day if the choice was to be made, she would sacrifice herself for the future. She knew that. At this point they all probably would. ]

Blood relations doesn't mean that someone is any less trustworthy or important than they were before the realization.
Still, he's not going to lie. Not about this. So when Tsukuyomi makes her comment, Sougo nods slowly. ]
Not everything, but...
[ He knows that much. He knows a little more too... ]
That you're not from this world too.
[ This is an issue right now that's a lot more pressing to Sougo than the fact that her brother happens to be Swartz. This fact is what's going to make it so hard to protect both her and his own world, though he's determined to try. ]

[ She waits a little before she elaborates, unsure of how she was supposed to explain everything. She wasn't sure she could explain it in a way that he would understand. Although... she does wonder sometimes that he seems to understand more than he lets on. ]
We arrived together but we're not from the same timeline as each other either. He ...Miharu was trying to get us to go back. Separately.
[ Geiz had gotten so angry with that conversation he had walked out and they haven't really had a chance to discuss it since. Maybe things could have been different. Or maybe things would have turned out the same. Time is...hard to predict. They have already changed so much.
She takes a breath and stands before him with a small nod. ]
You have a plan, don't you?
[ He has that look. That expression he has that is different from his usual. The ones she sees sometimes that tugs at her from deep within which says to her that, "you can trust him." ]

Date: 2020-10-22 05:00 am (UTC)He nods slightly, both at her explanation and her question. Though truth be told he's still not sure what to do about this. He's been offered three different paths for how to "fix" this potential snag that has arisen, and he doesn't want to take any of them. ]
Part of one, at least.
[ He knows where he has to start if nothing else, and that has to be with Tsukasa Kadoya, the man who can freely travel to other worlds, and has seemed more than happy to involve himself in their business up to this point.
Sougo just has to hope he actually wants to cooperate with them on this, because it's not like he's all that clear about what side he is on at any given point. ]

[ Even if it doesn't seem that way sometimes. ]
I'll do whatever is needed for us to get through this. Together.
[ She turns towards the others in the room and takes a moment to sort her thoughts before she allows time to resume for Geiz. There's a soft, almost wistful smile there. If only she could stop time for them forever. She gives him just a few seconds to orient himself. ]

Date: 2020-10-22 10:39 am (UTC)If he had stayed maybe things might have been different. If he hadn't let his temper and anger get in the way, maybe things might have been different too. Right now, he doesn't know how different things would be, but he does feel regret and it finally shows on his face when his brows furrow and a frown tilts the corners of his lips down. ]
How?
[ Is finally the only thing he can ask though. He doesn't know what Sougo and Tsukuyomi have talked about or even that they talked. Being frozen in time tends to do that to a person. But he does want to know more and he does want to be open with both of them. Especially now that they're in such a precarious position. ]
Who did it?
[ He asks that after the previous question because if Miharu is dead then he needs to get revenge. Revenge and him are partners. He had felt the same need in regards to Sougo but . . . that had changed. Now, he feels as if he needs to avenge Miharu because the man had tried to fix things. He hadn't wanted to mess things up for them.

Date: 2020-11-11 07:59 pm (UTC)But lying doesn't seem like the right move at the moment. Tsukuyomi said she trusted him. He wants that trust, and he wants Geiz's trust too.
He also doesn't want Geiz to get himself killed as well.
So there are a few heavy seconds before Sougo finally answers that question. ]
It was Swartz.
[ There's almost no pause between this statement, and his next comment, but there's a switch in the way he talks. Something about his tone is a little more authoritative, with the intention of giving no room for argument. He's not pulling off the commanding presence his future self has, but there's an edge of something there that Sougo doesn't usually convey in his speech. ]
But right now there's something more important we have to do than try and find him.

[ She keeps her gaze away from Geiz for the moment. She focuses on Sougo. He has the plan and she has a small feeling she would need some resolve to follow through with this. ]

So it doesn't concern him as much because, despite how surly he is, he does trust them. He trusts them both. That trust is only fragile because of what they have to deal with and what they've dealt with in the past. ]
What do we do, then?
[ The question is short and terse, but he's honestly asking and wanting to know just what Sougo wants to do with all of this. He crosses his arms and sets his gaze on Tsukuyomi, though, willing her to look at him and tell him just what's wrong. ]

She seems to at least have an inkling of some of it if nothing else, and his plan will certainly let him know for sure just how aware of her own situation Tsukuyomi might be. ]
We're going to find Kadoya Tsukasa.
[ He's answering Geiz's question, but he's looking at Tsukuyomi as he says it. He wants to see if there's any sign of surprise, and even if there isn't, if there's any hesitation.
This is important, but she's so heavily involved in this that he needs her to be willing to do this too for the option to be on the table. ]
